WHITE HOUSE TO APPOINT NEW NATIONAL SCIENCE ADVISOR

WASHINGTON, DC: Today, with a heavy heart, the White House confirms that Prof. Nancy T. Roche, National Science Advisor to the Presidental cabinet, has died in a tragic research related accident while on location in South Korea. The exact nature of the accident is under investigation by officials at DARPA and the FBI, but records indicate that the project involved azidoazide azide stabilization and the use of high energy heavy metal and organic compounds for industrial purposes. The cause of the incident has been confirmed as being accidental.

Nancy was well loved and respected by her colleagues and peers in the United States and her fellow scientists around the world. Her passing marks the end of a long tenure as National Science Advisor, having served the past three Presidential cabinets.

Due to replace her in the position of National Science Advisor is Prof. Christopher Glass, former director of the Lincoln Laboratory. Among his accomplishments are the development of the “jerk” operation, a technique that uses superconducting electromagnets to perform Stype asteroid ore extraction in near Earth orbit, and the formation of the San Pedro Initiative, a privately funded research group exploring the effects of psychopharmaceuticals on human physiology in Zero-G.
